Spreadsheet.com is reinventing the spreadsheet to become the fabric of collaborative work. This is an opportunity to play a role in evolving one of the most-used business applications in history, the “killer app” that ushered in the PC era.

As a Platform Engineer, you will work to add high visibility features to a secure, elastically scalable, highly available, multi-tenant backend platform at cloud scale. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, Platform Engineering, and QA Engineering teams to build, test and deploy new features. You will design and implement frameworks that enable maintainability and scalability of the code base and development processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience building enterprise backends
• Expertise in Node JS, Express, nginx and 'API first' backends
• Expertise in Mongo, ElasticSearch and MySQL
• Expertise in troubleshooting server-side performance and scalability issues
• Experience in development and deployment in AWS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-tenant system design
• Experience developing and maintaining parsers and compilers a big plus
• Experience building integrations with third party platforms such as Salesforce, Stripe, Okta, etc.
