Placement - Status as of December 11, 2020

We started our placement cycle for this academic year in September 2020. So far, we have placed 31% of the eligible students. As in the previous cycles, BFSI is the biggest sector with respect to the number of offers, followed by Audit / Advisory and Tax.

Our impact companies included the likes of Deloitte, KPMG, PwC (US Advisory), ANZ, HCL, BuyerForesight (a STEP2 Strategy company) among others. In the BFSI sector, ICICI Bank and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance were prominent recruiters among others. We have hosted close to 30 companies so far. Nearly 20% of them were first-time recruiters. We have received a healthy average ‘CTC’ of ₹6.81 lakhs.

Sentiments of our Recruiters

• Companies are interested to hire but remain very cautious about the number of offers to make. This approach is likely to continue till early 2021
• We see meticulous screening of applications at the level of the ‘CV’
• The number of selection rounds has increased, with many companies conducting aptitude tests

Preparation - Our Support

• Training sessions for every stage of the process for most of the companies
• Practice ‘Group Discussions’
• Aptitude test training, including multiple practice tests
• Company-specific training including sessions for understanding the job description
• Getting alumni to talk about the company and job expectations
• One-on-one mentoring

<aside> 🎯 Given the challenging situation the industry is in and considering the sentiments on hiring, it will be prudent to prepare and get an offer at the earliest.
