this is a deceivingly ‘easy’ move that is secretly complicated so please read this carefully

  1. Flag is brought up to and towards the chest, left foot is brought up, pointed, in line with right knee. your right leg will do a slight hop backwards, this is where some people get confused. you should be hopping back as your bring your flag up higher
  2. left foot down and flag at belly button position again. your left foot should be set down about a step in front of where your right foot is. this is so when you repeat the same skip, you’re not just moving further and further backwards.
  3. Repeat 1 but with right foot up and left foot hopping slightly backwards: Flag is brought up to and towards the chest, right foot is brought up, pointed, in line with left knee. your left leg will do a slight hop backwards.
  4. Feet brought together and flag at a horizontal about lower chest level, this is to make the next part really exaggerated.
  5. Move flag to your left
