Formatting a Table

You have several tables or large tables that need to have the same formatting. Do you select each table and apply borders and shading for each one? Can you apply the formatting quicker while maintaining the same consistent format across all tables?

Excel provides numerous predefined table styles that you can use to quickly format a table.

🛠️ Try the following on the

1. Select any cell in the table.

1. On the Home tab, click Format as Table, under the Table Group.

1. On the Table Design tab, choose the style that you prefer.

1. if your table has headers, check the box next to My table has headers, then click OK.

🖊️ If the data range is not accurate, select the correct data range with the mouse and click OK. Or type the correct data range.
