What is Pitchfest?
This Program aims to provide a large-scale platform for startup founders participating in Pitchfest to showcase their pitches/ideas/businesses live in front of the Jury, investors, and audience.
As a part of this program, startups will also get a speed dating session with investors in a sub-event (VC connect). VC connect will happen separately on each day of techsparks Delhi.
By fostering a grand live pitching event such as Pitchfest, we intend to offer a range of valuable services to startups, including on-spot funding, industry-specific investor connect, large-scale visibility to media, acceleration pathways, and exciting live audience engagement.
This program will have 6 key components:
- Startup Showcase: This offers a Live main-stage platform for startup founders & companies to showcase their pitches in under 3 minutes. Startups could use this time to present their business models, products, and growth strategies to a panel of experts.
- Jury and Investors: A panel of judges or experts (jury) will evaluate the pitches presented by the startups. These judges will include experienced entrepreneurs, investors, industry experts, and business leaders. The goal is to provide constructive feedback and potentially identify promising startups for further investment.
- Investor Networking: This program also provides an opportunity for startups to get connected with potential investors who are interested in supporting their ventures. This networking opportunity can lead to more extensive funding discussions beyond the event.
- Media Visibility: Startups that participate and deliver compelling pitches will gain exposure through YourStory media outlets and properties, increasing their visibility and brand recognition.
