-
Check if you already use Pinch
- If you already have a Pinch account connected to your Shopify store, go to Step 2.
- If you don’t use Pinch yet:
- Go to our Pinch contact/onboarding page.
- Complete the onboarding so we can create and connect your Pinch account.
- Once that’s done, continue with Step 2.
-
Install the Pinch app on your Gorgias store
- Log in to your Gorgias.
- Open the Gorgias Partner Store.
- Search for “Pinch”.
- Click Add app / Install and approve the permissions.
During this step:
- Your Shopify store domain is automatically shared with Pinch.
- An access token is handled on our side using your email – you do not need to generate or share any API key.
-
Confirm that Pinch is connected to your Gorgias store
- After installation, open your Pinch dashboard.
- Confirm that your Gorgias store is showing as connected (domain is correct and your store is listed).
- If anything looks wrong (e.g., wrong domain, missing store), contact Pinch support so we can fix it manually.
-
Verify that data appears inside Gorgias
- Open Gorgias and go to your tickets.
- Open a ticket where the customer email matches a customer in your Pinch data.
- Check that Pinch-related information is visible in the ticket sidebar/widget (as per your integration setup).
-
If something doesn’t look right
- If your Shopify store isn’t showing correctly in Pinch, or Pinch data is not appearing in Gorgias:
- Double‑check that the Pinch app is installed on the correct Shopify store.
- Make sure the Gorgias integration is enabled in Pinch.
- If it still doesn’t work, contact Pinch support with:
- Your Shopify store domain
- The email used in the ticket you tested
- We’ll manually fix the mapping and confirm once it’s resolved.
