Piano Extremist (aka Pianist Maidanu) - is a Ukrainian pianist, composer and painter. An individual who created an image that caught the attention all over the world as a symbol of the Revolution of Dignity in 2014. The genre of his own work can be called historical neoclassicism.

In 2014 Piano Extremist made his first performance on Khreshchatyk (in Kyiv, Ukraine) playing Ludovico Einaudi’s Nuvole Bianche, while wearing a balaclava and a bulletproof vest.
His video scored over two million views on YouTube and became the musical symbol of the Maidan Revolution
In autumn 2014, travelling with the “Dnipro-1” battalion, he started a tour in the eastern part of Ukraine (invaded by the russian federation) using the slogan: “We will protect those who protect us!”. He conducted charitable street performances in over 50 cities in the central and eastern parts of Ukaine.
Between 2014 and 2018 Piano Extremist performed live over 300 times all over Ukraine.
In 2019 Piano Extemist had to stop performing due to an onset of a severe illness and concentrated more on paining, which started as something he did in between performances.
