"A friend is one before whom I may think aloud" -Emerson

About

I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of California, Irvine. My philosophical interests are wide-ranging, and my style has always been inclined toward synthesizing insights from a variety of disparate fields and traditions. Most of my published work focuses on phenomenology, which is a field of philosophy that studies the structure of consciousness. I also have a background in Asian philosophy, having received a master's in Eastern Classics from St. John's College in Santa Fe.
