The Robotics Perception Engineer - SLAM will join our core autonomy team in Pune, India, as a full-time role focused on building and optimizing high-performance 3D LiDAR-based SLAM systems for reliable localization and mapping in complex, dynamic real-world environments (airports, malls, hospitals). You will develop real-time SLAM pipelines, implement factor-graph optimization using GTSAM, Ceres Solver, or G2O, fuse LiDAR with IMU, wheel odometry, and vision sensors, and leverage modern AI tools (Claude or Gemini) to accelerate code generation, debugging, and algorithm tuning. This hands-on position involves extensive testing in live deployments, performance optimization for embedded hardware, and close collaboration with perception, controls, and navigation teams to deliver robust robot autonomy.
