Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked Japanese short-grain rice
- 120g thinly sliced beef, such as ribeye or shabu-style beef
- 2 tbsp corn
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Lots of black pepper
- Garlic chips, optional
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or sugar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp mirin, optional but recommended
- 1 tbsp water
