We currently use Pennylane API v1, which is scheduled for deprecation by the end of 2025. We’re actively preparing the migration to API v2 (the official stable version).

• Scope: One‑way, import‑only. We do not send data back to Pennylane.
• Purpose: Keep articles, customers, quotes, and quote items in sync with Pennylane.

What we import

• Products and services → Articles
  • Name, description, unit (e.g., piece), product/service type.
• Customers → Organizations (Client)
  • Customer name and a link back to the original Pennylane record.
• Customer Estimates (quotes) → Sales Orders
  • Quote title/name, due date, linked customer.
• Estimate Line Items → Sales Order Lines
  • Linked article, quantity, description, price before tax.
  • If a line is removed in Pennylane, we remove it on our side.

Direction and safety

• One‑way only: Pennylane → us. No changes are pushed to Pennylane.
• We keep external IDs to update existing records without duplicates.
