At SuperHi, we use 1Password for Teams to keep passwords across the team. You'll be given two different 'vaults' as part of signing up to 1password: Personal and Shared

Every password you create should be using 1Password's password generation tool and saved to either the Personal or Shared vault.

The Personal vault should be used for any logins that you will individually log into – if you're entering your own email address for the account, store it in Personal.

If the account is a shared account, usually with the email address [email protected], any passwords will be stored in the Shared account – everyone on the team has access to this vault so definitely make sure you're not putting in your own passwords, use the 1Password password generation tool for this!

Two factor authentication

If a service offers two-factor authentication (2FA), it is required to use 2FA unless it is only via a SMS service – this stops one team member being texted every time for a login code!

1Password also supports 2FA as part of its service. To add 2FA, download the 1Password app to your phone and login, then use the barcode icon for that login within 1Password to scan the QR code. This will allow others to login using 2FA on Shared accounts too.

Password rotation

Passwords will be changed on a regular basis to stop any data leakage. All passwords need to updated accordingly in 1Password vaults.
