More about your partnership

Hi there, I’m Jaleh. I am excited to get to know you and tell you more about our long term vision. In the meantime, here is a little about me.

I grew up in Iran. My parents were both chemical engineers. Needless to say, they had my sister and I solving riddles and setting things on fire in the name of learning and experimentation by age 5.  I moved to the US in eighth grade and focused on math and physics, which were my strong suits as someone who didn’t speak any English.

I studied mechanical engineering at Berkeley, but decided to work in marketing/growth once I understood how impactful and technology-driven the field was. I truly love the art and science involved in helping a company grow. I feel lucky that we get to transform the way every company drives growth.

On the personal side, I just moved to Miami and get to explore the city and culture every weekend. I love spending time in the sun and at the beach—just wish my hair got along with the humidity a little better. I look like a chia pet within 15 minutes of stepping outside. I’m obsessed with audio books. I go on solo hikes and tend to finish a book a week. One of my recent favorites was Endurance, the incredible story of Ernest Shackleton who sailed to Antarctica and managed to save all 27 members of his crew in an epic tale of misfortune, luck and resilience in 1914. I love fiction but am bad at finding good fiction books. Let me know if you have any recommendations! I have always loved writing internal docs (e.g. values, product vision, brand brief) but have recently started doing it publicly and am truly enjoying it.

I value love, growth and integrity. I absolutely love what I do, but I also enjoy my life outside of work. I find that when all I do is work, I become one dimensional and a less inspiring leader. I encourage everyone on my team to do the same and wish someone had told me that when I was younger.
