Partnerships Department

As the name suggests, our partnerships team is mainly responsible to establish and maintain communication with our awesome partners. There are two basic objectives we need to keep an eye on:First and foremost is the financing of the association. Like any organisation, we need to ensure sustainable funding for our activities. Second, and much more fun, we want to provide our techies/mentors with interesting and exciting events to make their TechLabs semester worthwhile. In addition to established companies, we are therefore also in contact with start-ups, initiatives and individuals from the dynamic tech/business community in Aachen to offer insightful talks and inspiring events.

We’re a diverse team and open to local as well as international applicants. Most of our internal communication is in English. Nonetheless, since many of our partners communicate in German only, we would require you to be fluent in German.

Responsibilities

• Further develop our event packages and identify new engagement opportunities.
• Prepare and pitch convincing materials.
• Cold-calling new partners as well as networking with established contacts
• Finding solutions for strategic topics - such as knowledge transfer, price building and network management.

Requirements

• Be creative - as a young initiative we do not have an established business model. We encourage you to contribute your own ideas and help improve our offer.
• You feel comfortable with project work and have strong presentation skills.
• As a bonus, you have previous experience in working with companies.
• Don’t worry about coding skills, they are not required!
