-2 Flag dropped straight down, hands don’t change position though; your right hand will grab your top pole cap and your left hand will grab your tape.

Step back with your right foot and lift flag slightly so it hits the ground at an angle (0:10-0:11).

Bring the flag to your right side and ‘winding up’ for your toss by pulling it back (0:12-0:13). When you are winding up for the toss please be making sure you are aiming your flag for your partner’s left side.

Slide your flag by pushing your flag across the floor, only letting go when your right arm is extended. Make sure you let go with your left hand, and then before you let go with your right hand FLICK YOUR FLAG UP by pushing the top pole cap up!! If you do not do this you are just sending your flag sliding across the floor and your partner won’t be able to grab your flag. Your left hand is guiding the direction of where the flag will go, and your right is making it so your flag transitions from angled to right side up while sliding!! You don’t want your partner grabbing (or getting injured from!) a wonky slide.

Partners grab their partners flag. Try your best to not need to move your feet when catching it though, that’s a sign that you need to work on the aim of your slide.

-8 Return Flag to ready position
