- Love talking to customers to hear their challenges and needs.

- Are comfortable doing both contextual interviews and usability research.
- We are a super early start-up, so we have a mix of work identifying core needs and problems as well as testing that our designs solve these problems.
- Are comfortable leading the user research for an early-stage company.
- You will be leading everybody in the company to do research and talk to our market.
- Part of your role will be figuring out the right questions to ask and how to get in front of the right people in the market.
- Have a strong ability to synthesize learnings to tell a great story.
- Doing the interviews is only part of the challenge.
- Synthesizing the learnings and communicating them back to the company in terms of actionable insight and inspiring stories is what's important.
- Startup experience is a bonus.
- Startups operate differently than large companies.
- You need to be comfortable working with little direction and lots of flexibility, as priorities often change quickly at a startup.
