Introduced a Part Payment / Split Payment system that enabled students to pay for high-value batches in multiple installments instead of a single upfront payment. This feature targeted affordability, reduced friction, and increased conversions for premium batches while opening a steady revenue stream from previously price-sensitive users.

Problem & Approach

Problem Statement:

A considerable number of students were dropping off at checkout due to high upfront payment requirements, leading to lost conversions, abandoned carts, and reduced accessibility.

The challenge was to create a student-friendly and financially sustainable payment model.

Target Users:

• Students unable to afford full batch price upfront
• Low-income or financially dependent students
• Users who abandoned the cart due to pricing friction
• Students preparing for long-duration or premium courses (JEE/NEET/UPSC)

Research Methods:

• Checkout funnel drop-off analysis to identify affordability barriers
• Payment gateway fail logs and high-value cart abandonment data
