About This Policy

• This is a gender neutral policy that integrates all things related to Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, and Shared Parental leave. (Pento hires in many different countries and some may not use such language or may have different family-related policies that would also apply)
• We created this policy because we believe the traditional approach to parental leave doesn't cut it; it's not family-first and doesn't give all families enough opportunity to choose what's right for them. Many policies are particularly exclusionary to LGBTQ+ families and it was important to us that this policy is fair and enables choice for all Pento employees
