Chumbaka’s mission is to develop children’s life skills by inspiring them to create with technology. Just like how sports instill discipline, we use technology as a platform to develop life skills. Throughout the process, Chumbaka always strives to provide a safe learning environment and uphold high standards of Duty of Care.

Hence, all students participating in our activities must uphold the following policies and contracts:

Accidents Policy

Chumbaka strives to provide a safe learning environment

We (parents) agree that:

  1. We understand that there are risks of injury associated with participation in Chumbaka’s program.
  2. We authorise qualified emergency medical professionals to examine and in the event of injury or serious illness, administer emergency care to my child. We understand every effort will be made to contact us to explain the nature of the problem prior to any involved treatment.
  3. In the event it becomes necessary for Chumbaka to obtain emergency care for my child, Chumbaka does not assume liability for expenses incurred because of the accident, injury, illness, and/or unforeseen circumstances.
  4. It will be our responsibility to pay for expenses.
  5. We will neither blame nor sue Chumbaka or other community members for injury caused by the accident.

Student’s Medical Disclosure

Full disclosure of a student’s medical history is mandatory so that Chumbaka mentors are fully aware & can mitigate any health and safety risks.
