The following instructions will help you assemble a miniature backpack for your Microbit using paper from a cereal box or similar cardstock.

• Cardstock (like cardboard packaging)
• Scissors
• Tape
• An elastic band (like a hair tie or rubber band)

1. Print out the template below:

   backpack-paper-template.pdf

2. Trace the template onto your cardstock

3. Fold over the tabs and tape to enclose the bottom of the backpack.

<aside> ☝ Tip: You can use a ruler to make it easier to fold straight across when assembling your backpack.

4. Insert the elastic before folding over the top flap.

5. Insert your Microbit and tape down the top fold to secure it in the backpack.
