This guide will show you how you can paint your OMI device lid with any spray paint color.

Materials needed

1. Fine sanding paper (very fine grit recommended)
2. (Optional) Compressed air
3. Metal primer
4. Acrylic spray paint (for metal)
5. Protective coating (for metal)

I’d also suggest an environment with moderate temperature, low humidity, and light airflow outside your living area. Also wear appropriate safety gear.

Painting the device will take about 30 minutes of work with about 12 hours of drying time.

Prepare surface:

1. Get very fine sanding paper and lightly sand:
   • the top (where the light cutout is)
   • the side (only above the gap)

1. Clean the surface: use compressed air or similar cleaning methods to remove all dust.
