2. Data Collection

• We do not collect personal usage data or the content of your notes.*

We do not track your reading habits, writing content, or browsing history within the app.

3. Data Storage and Sync

• Local Storage: All your notes, folders, and tags are stored in a local database on your device.
• iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud container. This data is managed by Apple and is accessible only by you across your signed-in devices. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

4. AI and Machine Learning

PageMoss provides AI features to enhance your productivity.

• On-Device Processing: PageMoss uses local Small Language Models (SLMs) that run entirely on your device. No data leaves your device when using these local models.
• Apple Intelligence: On supported devices, we utilize Apple's on-device intelligence features, which adhere to Apple's strict privacy standards.
• Model Downloads: AI models are downloaded from third-party hosting services (Hugging Face). Only the model files are downloaded; no personal data or note content is transmitted during this process.
