I really like the metaphor of base ai models as electricty. Would prefer when forecasting to derive outcomes from first-principles but metaphorically one of the bette examples.

Just like were transitioning from SEO to GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) we’ll transition from documentation for devs to carry out task to documentation in the software of websites and applications for AI instead of people. Vercel and stripes are early adopters but good devs should be reading the writing on the wall.
Andrej mentions markdown format as much friendlier to AI interpretation so makes me wonder how the function of meta-data tagging with formats like XML will change — especially across other languages besides English.
Large AI companies could learn naming conventions from companies implementing LLM friendly actions: ✅ Git → Gitingest ✅ Wiki → DeepWIki ⁉️ GPT-4o-mini → GPT-4o-mini-high → GPT-3.5 → GPT-4.1-mini → GPT-4o → GPT-4.1 → GPT-4.5 *ranked starting from ‘smallest’ to ‘deepest’/advanced’
