In Sprint Three, the goal is to have a simple Virtual Pet concept and Chain Matching Game that functions minimally. They do not work in tandem yet at this stage, but the seeds are set up for the basics of their connectivity in Sprint Four.
Aesthetics-wise, decisions need to be made about art style as well as how/if the medication berries will actually VISUALLY tie in DEEPLY with the medication. Concepts for Food, and at least TWO animations should be made (possibly implemented in game)!
Design choices regarding specific mechanics and if we are including a text-based guidebook/info-guide on medicine will be implemented. Decisions/concepts for how/if we can implement a doctor’s visit function or side effects function will be discussed as well. However, concepts and timelines for any new features should be decided on HERE.
—------------------
In Sprint Four, the goal is to finalize beginning art assets, and implement them into the game. This includes the TWO medications and possible TWO FOODS, as well as at least ONE more animation for ONE pet.
Tech wise, the pet should be able to become TIRED and BORED. Implementation of at least ONE bad and ONE good combination of medicines/food should be addressed. Chain-match wise, combinations of varying berries should be the main focus, as well as adding berries to the inventory based on chain matches.
Design wise, contemplate any challenges that arise, and continue to flesh out the UI. Continue with documentation as well.
—------------------
In Sprint Five, the goal is to have at least the game concept from MS2 completed! This includes a virtual pet that has four different states that react to both time and player action. This also includes a timed chain match game that has varying combinations and connects to the virtual pet inventory.
If the two foods were not previously finished, finish them HERE, and ALL animations for the pet should be done. All art should be implemented!
Design team should finish UI assets, and music/sound effects should be included.
