What is it?

When opening the fastwrite ribbon you have the opportunity to upload PDF documents as source for your autocomplete suggestions.

Currently, there a 3 limitations when uploading documents:

1. Max. 20 MB / document
2. Max. 500 pages / document
3. PDF scans that are actually photos can not be processed, as the text is not readable for a computer

What can I do if I a have documents that are scans of physical books?

There is a free and very robust tool for editing PDFs called “PDF24” which we would recommend:

There are two functions that should help you (marked in red):

1. “OCR” stands for optical character recognition → this converts your image into text that is readable for a computer.
2. Then compress it to less than 20 MB.
3. Try to reupload your document → now it should work
