# Acceptable Use Policy for PdfOcr Scan

- Theft of trade secrets

### 2.3 Privacy and Security Violations
- Scanning personal information (SSN, passport numbers, financial data) without consent
- Processing medical or health records without authorization
- Unauthorized surveillance or monitoring
- Hacking, phishing, or social engineering
- Distributing malware or harmful code

### 2.4 Fraudulent Activities
- Identity theft or impersonation
- Creating forged or fraudulent documents
- Misrepresenting credentials or qualifications
- Financial fraud or payment fraud
- Deceptive practices

### 2.5 Harmful Content
- Processing content depicting violence or abuse
- Child exploitation material (any involvement prohibited and reported)
- Hate speech or content promoting discrimination
- Threatening or harassing content
- Defamatory or libelous material

### 2.6 Harassment and Abuse
- Threatening, intimidating, or harassing others
- Cyberbullying or online harassment
- Doxxing (sharing private information)
- Creating content to harm others' reputation
- Stalking or surveillance

### 2.7 System Abuse
- Attempting to reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Attempting unauthorized access to App systems
- Denial-of-service attacks
- Exploiting vulnerabilities or bugs
- Resource consumption abuse
- Automated scraping or data mining

### 2.8 Commercial Misuse
- Processing bulk documents for commercial resale
- Using the App for business purposes without appropriate licensing
- Spam or unsolicited communication
- Marketing or promoting illegal services
- Reselling the App or its features

## 3. Content Restrictions

Users must not process or distribute:
- Sexually explicit or pornographic content
- Graphic violence or gore
- Content promoting self-harm or suicide
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Weapons or explosives instructions
- Dangerous or destructive information

## 4. Enforcement

### 4.1 Monitoring
We reserve the right to monitor App usage for compliance with this Policy. This may include:
- Analyzing usage patterns
- Reviewing reported violations
- Investigating suspected abuse

### 4.2 Violations and Consequences
Users in violation of this Policy may face:
- Immediate account suspension or termination
- Loss of all data and access
- Legal action as permitted by law
- Reporting to appropriate authorities for illegal content

### 4.3 No Warranty of Action
While we monitor for violations, we do not guarantee detection of all violations. Users are responsible for their own compliance.

- You are responsible for verifying OCR results independently
- We do not guarantee 100% accuracy

### 6.2 Liability
- We are not liable for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in OCR results
- Do not rely solely on extracted text for critical decisions
- Always verify sensitive information against original documents

## 7. Data Processing Standards

### 7.1 Your Responsibility
- You are responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection laws
- Obtain necessary consent before processing personal information
- Comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations
