My name is Paula Castro, I am a nurse, with a degree in Nursing, a Master’s in Bioethics, and a specialist in Family Health at ULS Oeste. I was born in Abrigada, Alenquer, but since 2007 I have lived in Foz do Arelho, my husband’s hometown, where I have built roots with our family and our son.

After several years working in Lisbon in leading hospitals such as Santa Maria and São José, I became ‘your’ nurse at the Foz do Arelho health unit until 2015, where I developed strong bonds with the community.

I chose to dedicate my life to caring for people, and I believe that, just as in nursing, in our parish too it is through closeness, dedication, and attention to families that we can build a better future for everyone.
