The Supra Hub

The Supra Hub is a community-driven initiative created to support the growth of the Supra Layer 1 blockchain. It serves as a central directory for everything happening within the ecosystem: projects, resources, opportunities, and more. Built by the community, the Hub was created to make it easier for developers, builders, and supporters to explore integrations, access tools, and stay informed about Supra’s expanding network. As the ecosystem continues to scale, this Hub will grow alongside it, ensuring everyone has a place to connect and contribute.

If you’d like to share an opportunity or list your project in the Hub, you can use the Project Submission Form or reach out directly through the Hub Contact Form —we’d love to hear from you!

What is Supra?

If you’re building in Web3, you’re constantly juggling oracles, bridges, smart contract platforms, data feeds, and execution engines. But what if there was a blockchain that rolled it all into one, with a speed and developer experience that rivals even the most hyped L1s?

That would be Supra, a vertically integrated Layer-1 blockchain. In this case, “vertically integrated” means that Supra includes not just the base blockchain and smart contracts, but also native oracles, randomness, automation, and cross-chain communication - eliminating the need for most external middleware. This is the new generation of blockchain technology.

Originally launched as SupraOracles, the project has evolved into one of the most advanced, under-the-radar (for now) infrastructure platforms in Web3.

This page breaks down exactly why Supra is positioned to be a top-tier blockchain platform in 2025 and beyond—and why developers and investors should be paying close attention.

Envisioned to Solve the Oracle Problem, Built to Do Much More

Supra started with a mission to solve the oracle problem - delivering accurate, fast, and secure off-chain data to smart contracts. Co-founded in 2020 by Joshua D. Tobkin and Jon Jones, the project initially emerged as SupraOracles. The team’s early innovations in consensus algorithms and verifiable randomness led to the creation of a new architecture that could natively support oracles at the protocol layer.

That vision attracted support from investors like Animoca Brands, Coinbase Ventures, HashKey Capital, Galaxy Interactive, Shima Capital, and Prosus Ventures. Supra was selected for the Mastercard Start Path Accelerator and the Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator, establishing credibility among both enterprise and academic communities. Currently, Supra is building toward a thriving and expansive ecosystem of interoperable projects building on Supra or using the tools and features it provides.

A Vertically Integrated Blockchain Stack

Supra doesn’t just plug into existing chains, it built its own, from the consensus layer to smart contracts and data services.

Its custom consensus, SupraBFT, is based on a BFT model called Moonshot. With randomized leader rotation and a DAG-based module called Selfish, it supports parallel transaction execution, finality in under a second, and throughput up to 500,000 TPS in controlled environments. You can go much more in-depth on the technology and research behind Supra’s blockchain here.

Supra's smart contract layer uses a multi-VM setup. It currently supports MoveVM (popularized by Aptos and Sui) and is building toward EVM, Solana VM (SVM), and CosmWasm compatibility. A key innovation here is SupraSTM, a transaction engine that enables parallel EVM execution with 4x better throughput than traditional models.

On the oracle side, Supra maintains ultra-low latency and refresh times: price feeds refresh every 2-3 seconds with under one second of latency. Its decentralized verifiable randomness (dVRF) is also live and supports Web3 games, lotteries, and NFT mechanics. Supra’s oracles are already live on over 80 blockchains including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, and Aptos.

For interoperability, HyperNova is Supra’s built-in bridgeless cross-chain messaging system. It enables direct message-passing and coordination between chains without needing insecure third-party bridges.

Supra is also innovating in DeFi architecture, with primitives like Proof of Efficient Liquidity (PoEL) and Dynamic Function Market Maker (DFMM) that promise to increase capital efficiency across DEXes and AMMs.
