Goal:

The Shia Network of Ontario (SNO) aims to create a unified platform for all Shia Youth Groups across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This platform will connect leaders and participants, serving as a bridge between them.

Events can be shared based on organization (such as Mosques or University Groups) or location, making information more accessible to everyone.

Why is this needed:

• To unite the ummah under one common banner
• To facilitate seamless communication among different youth groups across Ontario
• To provide easy access to mentorship and professional networking with fellow Shia brothers and sisters throughout the GTA

How is this different?:

While several Canadian Shia groups exist, they operate independently without coordination. No unified platform currently represents the collaborative efforts of Shia youth groups in Ontario or the GTA.

Communication Channels:

• Discord Server and Instagram: Our primary communication platforms that will link to all other channels
  • Comprehensive listing of all upcoming events from different groups
  • Dedicated channels for networking, mentorship, sporting events, Q&A, etc.
  • Mailing list registration available here
• Email/Text Communication: Available for users who register for the mailing list
