You can click on buttons (inside grip button + clicking down the joysticks) to bring up the overlay or have it set up to show all the time. Here's what that would look like in a headset:
If you are using a PC the easiest thing to do is to go to YUR > Settings within settings you can click on "Show Always" or "Show Temporarily When Triggered".
