Health is a global issue 🌏

According to the WHO, In 2020, 83 percent of men and 72 percent of women will be overweight or obese. Currently, 72 percent of men and 63 percent of women are overweight or obese.

Better food means happier people 💚

95% of the human body's supply of serotonin, the mood and GI regulating hormone, comes from our gut health. A healthy diet directly contributes to the happiness and well being of people.

Healthy is not convenient 💸

Most people want to eat healthy, but they don't know where to start. Especially in our day and age where unhealthy food is accessible at our finger tips and arrives at our doors in less than an hour.

Everyone at Calo has visibility over the overall goal of the year, and each quarter.

Every team has a set of OKRs that connect directly to the company wide goals, giving each team and individual the freedom and alignment to plan where to focus their efforts.

🛠 Outcome vs. output

The outcomes are what the business wants or needs to achieve. The outputs are the actions or items that contribute to achieving an outcome.

Everyone at Calo has the freedom with the actions they do to achieve the outcomes, as long as they don't break our values.
