Why this matters to us 👇🏻
According to the WHO, In 2020, 83 percent of men and 72 percent of women will be overweight or obese. Currently, 72 percent of men and 63 percent of women are overweight or obese.
95% of the human body's supply of serotonin, the mood and GI regulating hormone, comes from our gut health. A healthy diet directly contributes to the happiness and well being of people.
Most people want to eat healthy, but they don't know where to start. Especially in our day and age where unhealthy food is accessible at our finger tips and arrives at our doors in less than an hour.
It is the no talk, all action mentality that carries us through the inevitable hardship and uncertainty of going after our mission.
To continuously grow, is a mindset that everything and everyone can become better. This mindset is what makes us stand apart.
We keep ideas simple, draw quick conclusions based on data, act on them, and iterate fast.
We view feedback as a direct way of helping each other grow, always given in service of one another.
Being humble is about knowing that there is always someone out there who is wiser, smarter, or better than us at what we do and that we can learn from.
This reflects our attitude towards our customers, and towards each other. We look at “wow” as a verb.
Being empathetic is allowing ourselves to step into the shoes of someone else. The Calo way is to be considerate of others; without empathy, that wouldn't be possible.
