Human Values

No prejudice.

Don't judge the person you are talking to, especially before learning more about them. And even after. You are not all-knowing so you aren't necessarily right. You’re entitled to your own perception and right to dislike someone but never to feel superior and judge their behavior or their mindset.

Respect.

Say hi, be nice, be polite, listen to what people say, do not use your cell during a meeting. Show people you are respectful, and you will earn their consideration amazingly fast.

No trashing.

Speak about people with restraint and respect. Don't trash people. If you want people to say good things about you, to be nice when you are not in the room, the very first necessary step is not to speak badly about other people.

Be humble.

Do not brag about anything, always remind yourself that you are a speck of dust in the universe.

Don't act like you know everything.

Learn from everyone. You should always try to spend more time listening than talking. Hearing yourself talk doesn't bring you any new information, listening to others does.

Don't take it personally.

Always be nice with people inside and outside the company. But if you feel someone is not being nice to you, don't take it personally: try to understand and to open discussion.

Be direct.

Go directly speak with the right interlocutor, rather than having the reflex of passing through your or their team leader first. This typically applies for feedback: feel free to give some feedback to ANY other Stockler. As long as it’s constructive and it respects the values of Stockly, feedback makes us grow as a group.

Keep your good vibes.

Just be yourself. Never be afraid to be honest, direct and say what you think, as long as it’s constructive, with humility and positive vibes.
