We are continuously experimenting with and updating our rituals in a pursuit to maximize productivity and employee satisfaction.

Daily standups

We have short daily standups every morning in each technical team. They normally start with a 10-15 min sync, followed by the discussion of open issues with those who are affected.

Bi-weekly company “all-hands” meetings

Every second week, we have an all-company meeting where the CEO and leaders share news of strategy and business development. We conduct an anonymous Q&A session in which every single question is answered. All-hands are recorded and available online for a few weeks.

No meeting days

(Unstructured) meetings are productivity and energy drains. They cut into our ability to get real work done. They create a hectic atmosphere and a deceptive sense of accomplishment (”I’ve been back to back for the past X hours”). To combat this, we designated Wed and Fri as “10X days” (no meetings, except morning standups) to enable deep work on projects that truly move the needle.

Quarterly technical reviews

Once a quarter, each team member has a one-on-one session with the Team Head. This meeting is for sharing feedback regarding technical decisions taken in the project, discussing the future of the project, asking for feedback on performance, and discussing compensation if required.

In simple words, it's the right place and time to criticize the tech decisions, ask for feedback, and discuss the future.

Company Offsites

As a global, remote company, getting together in person is critical to building culture, bonding with colleagues, and strategically planning our most ambitious goals. We’re experimenting with several format to bring everyone together in person several times a year.
