Moritz and Constantin, both business nerds and two of Layer's four Co-Founders, had to deal with spreadsheet-based workflows a lot throughout their careers. It was when they both met working for the Berlin startup Helpling, that they encountered an especially painful one. In 2018 they got together and decided to ease the pain for all spreadsheet lovers around the world and started to develop the idea of a workflow platform for spreadsheets. After teaming up with Layer's two other Co-Founders Dave (CPO) and Ernests (CTO) we are now on a mission to supercharge spreadsheets with state-of-the-art technology and design.
