Organikly is a Chrome extension that organizes saved web links into a nested folder structure. We respect your privacy and have designed the extension to be local-first.
What we collect
- URLs, page titles, and favicons for pages you explicitly save by clicking the extension icon, using the keyboard shortcut, selecting the right-click "Save to Organikly" menu item, or clicking the "+" button in the Organikly sidebar.
- Local preferences (selected theme, collapsed-folder state).
Where this data lives
- Exclusively in your browser’s local storage (chrome.storage.local).
- Never transmitted to any server we operate. We operate no servers.
- Deleted automatically when you uninstall the extension or clear Chrome’s site data for the extension.
Third-party services
- When Chrome cannot supply a favicon image locally for a saved page, the extension may request a favicon from Google’s public favicon service at https://www.google.com/s2/favicons. Only the hostname of the saved page is included in this request. No other data is transmitted to Google or any third party.
Data sharing and selling
- We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party.
- We do not use analytics, telemetry, advertising, or crash-reporting services.
Account / authentication
- Organikly has no account system. You do not create an account or sign in.
Your rights
- You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the extension or by deleting individual folders and links within the extension’s UI.
