The journey of OptiDraw began in 2023, born out of the practical frustrations I faced as a studio developer constantly battling "context switching" between multiple external DCC apps and the Unity Editor. This fragmented workflow was a significant bottleneck that hindered our studio's productivity and creative momentum. What started as a specialized internal tool for Run2Go Studio to streamline our own pipeline has now evolved into a comprehensive, high-performance solution available on the Unity Asset Store. By centralizing advanced PBR painting and mesh optimization directly within Unity, OptiDraw eliminates the need for constant app-switching, allowing developers to maintain their focus where it matters most: inside the engine.
