Creator Fund has a unique sourcing model, with teams on-the-ground across 28 university campuses identifying opportunities early. We are the first to scale a successful Silicon Valley model in Europe, which has been a catalyst for the success of university startups in the US.

We recently closed our $15mm UK Fund II, and a separate smaller fund to build our model in new European geographies. We have also closed an investment round into Creator Fund itself. This is a pivotal time in Creator Fund’s journey, and we are building our team to capitalise on our momentum.

🌍 Operations Director Role

Creator Fund has teams across 28 university campuses and is growing fast. Our PhD and other student teams on-the-ground are how we find, understand, and win high-quality opportunities, and they are treated as partners in our Fund. As Operations Director you will manage these teams. This will make you an important part of our investment process, as you will work with our teams to analyse and close deals. You will also be involved in supporting our founders post-investment.

Creator Fund is a startup too. And you will be responsible for building the systems, technology, and processes that allow our model to scale. The role includes:

• Team Management: You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting our student teams and working with them to evaluate and win deals. Being part of Creator Fund is a unique and intense experience for our students, and we work with some of the smartest young technical minds in the country. You will manage their experience from start-to-finish.
• Building and scaling the team: You will launch Creator Fund on new university campuses, and help us scale the model in Europe. This includes overseeing our recruitment and onboarding process of new team members over the summer.
• Portfolio Support: Working with and supporting our founders to ensure they get maximum value from Creator Fund. Over time, we would like you to take over direct resposibility for managing part of the portfolio.
• Developing a scalable operational model: As we grow, we need to develop the way we operate to ensure we can win more deals, support a growing portfolio, and manage investor relations. You will be responsible for putting the systems, processes, and software in place to help us do this.
• Brand and Content Strategy: Shaping the way Creator Fund shows up both virtually and at in-person events.
• Community Development: Creator Fund is building Europe’s leading community for Deep Tech investors and founders: a network where our portfolio can find great talent and our alumni have unique advantages in their careers. Your job will be to strengthen and oversee this community so that our founders and students derive even more value.
• Due Diligence, Investment Process, and Reporting: Supporting our investment process and working with our CEO on deal closing and reporting.
