AI agents were moving from experimentation to infrastructure. OpenClaw — an open-source platform for building and orchestrating AI agents — had active chapters in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Vietnam had nothing.
That absence wasn't just a gap on a map. Vietnam has strong developer talent, growing AI curiosity, and a startup ecosystem hungry for practical tools — but no structured space for builders to explore agent frameworks together. No trusted surface to translate "this technology exists" into "here's what it does for my specific business problem."
OpenClaw VN was built to fill that gap before the market consolidated around a dominant narrative — and to serve both sides of the ecosystem simultaneously: builders who needed a learning surface, and infra providers who needed distribution into an emerging market with no existing channel.
Role: Founder and Chapter Lead — zero to one, solo.
Built the full community infrastructure from scratch: secured sponsorships, sourced and briefed speakers, designed the event format, managed all logistics, hosted and MC'd Meetup #1, and ran the post-event research sprint that feeds Meetup #2 design.
