Many practices have requested that they would only like to schedule emergencies due to COVID-19. This article walks you though removing all appointment types except emergencies.

  1. Log-in to www.localmed.com/clients as a provider.
  2. You should now see a page similar to the one below.

  1. Please click on the icon in the LocalMed portal that is highlighted in the picture above. The description will say "__ Appointment Types connected."

  2. You will be brought to a page similar to the one below.

  1. Please click on "MAPPED." It is highlighted in the image above. You should now only appointment types in the right column that LocalMed is scheduling for.

  1. In the example above, we would only need to remove "New Patient Cleaning & Exam - New" from online scheduling. To do this, please click on the Title of the highlighted box. Do not click on the pencil icon on the left.
