How we evaluate/ ask member’s to be a potential core
1 Peter 5: 1-5 To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
Prayer is super important to make sure that our decision for someone to be a leader is God’s will and not entirely based off our own emotions. It’s our chance to align with God and His heart for the church instead of our own plans

Recommended to ask YOUR ML/ AML optional: CGL/ ACGL/ ZL (or even all) to come and pray with you about this decision. This encourages accountability, a second opinion, and an opportunity to come together as the leadership of Narrowstreet for a greater purpose.

Just like the above, let your ML + AML know what you feel God is telling you from the prayers, and see what they think about onboarding them.
Yay! The fact that you are in step 3 means that by God’s will, we can have more people to build God’s kingdom. But yes, please consult the CGL/ACGL and ZL of the member you want to train up to be a potential core. Talk to them privately and just mention what you see in their member and what will you do to build them up as a future leader; this is also a good opportunity to ask them about how the member has been in CG and whether or not it’s a good decision to onboard them, as well as other enquiries/ concerns you might have about the member

Remember to respect whatever the CGL/ACGL/ZL has to say, honor is our habit after all!

Super important, just mention everything from the talk with the member’s leaders and let your ML + AML know what you think
If everything goes well then Congrats! you can leave it up to the ML + AML + HOD of people to meet up with the member and lay out the expectations and commitments of what it means to be a potential core OR
You can ask them on your own as long as the ML/ AML/ HOD of people is there to be with you as you ask them.
