Introduction to the team

On the first Monday after you start, you’ll do a 10-15-minute open mic presentation to introduce yourself to the team—both professionally and personally. What to do:

• Make a short deck of 5-10 slides to showcase how awesome you are (career and life highlights, funny facts, a case or two you are really proud of).
• Book a 30-minute 1:1 chat with everyone on the team.

Getting started

First things first:

• Read the Employee Handbook here.
• Go through the Brand Manual here: Brand Manual.

1st day here:

• Desk and Workspace: Get your screen and workspace ready.
• Computer: Install all relevant programs and set up Slack desktop, including 1pass.
• Phone: Download Slack, email apps, sync calendars, and turn on notifications, including 1pass.
• Email: Set up your email address (yourfirstname@goodtape.io).
• Slack: Add a photo to your profile and join all relevant channels.
