Who Are We?

OnLoop's vision is to unlock the full potential of the world’s one billion knowledge workers. We seek to reduce frustration, anxiety, bias and apathy for tomorrow's hybrid workforce in a new product category, Collaborative Team Development (CTD).

Work today is designed to get things done, not make people better. This is simply not good enough. Built for end-user teams, and leveraging the best in behavioral science and AI, we aim to make the world's teams better by compounding their everyday.

The OnLoop product is a mobile-first app that inspires teams to fall in love with the one habit that will supercharge their growth: capturing and sharing feedback against goals and ensuring that every action in the product beautifully compounds to deliver significant value back to the user. The company is moving fast: we wrote the first line of code on April 1, 2020, had launched in private beta on the App Store by Oct 2020, raised two rounds of capital amounting to $5.5M dollar seed round by September 2021, and launched publicly on September 16, 2021. We now have amazing companies like Dolby Labs, OpenAI, Beyond Meat, Shell Ventures and others as paying customers and only just getting started. The Problem we are Solving

OnLoop was born out of our founders’ deep frustration with the tools they were given to assess and develop their teams, even at companies like Uber and Google. The tools that did exist were ultimately in service of performance review processes driven more by recency bias than by data. Given the world’s drastic transition to a remote—now hybrid—work environment, the pain of a lack of development tools is exacerbated by a lack of visibility.

OnLoop is designed to reinvent how hybrid teams are assessed and developed; multi-platform across mobile, web and Slack to accommodate all styles of working. It leverages the very latest in behavioral science and natural language AI (OpenAI's GPT-3) to help teams drive an impactful loop of fluid and dynamic goals, regular reflection, feedback and learning. Managers and their teams co-create these loops to provide powerful insights into individual and team development. All in all, OnLoop surfaces the right level of detail to bridge gaps that arise within hybrid teams while still focusing on mobile-first skim value for the busy professional.
