I'm not going to continue reading bean dad long enough to find out how old his daughter is, but I'm assuming that by her age, I was driving, hunting, and combining by myself on the farm. I learned a lot of skills I will undoubtedly never need again as a kid, but I did not learn a whole lot about the things that are actually important to being a person (how to listen, how to confront one's trauma, etc.) if she would have found herself needing to use a can opener, she would have looked it up on YouTube, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. in fact, how to videos may be the only entirely non-problematic content left on the goddamned thing.
