Purpose of Doc:

Do more constrained math with spirulina and my existing setup.

Assuming:

  1. Spirulina (5-10% lipids)
  2. Lipid % * algae mass is the maximium possible oil yield at 100% conversion
  3. 1 gallon (3.78 liters)
  4. A linear accumulation of cell density (false, but convenient).

We can calculate accumulation,

$a = m/Vt$

a is accumulation rate per volume., where V = volume, m = mass, t = time

My volume *grams / meter day = grams / day in my volume

example: 1 gallon / 12.1 liters * 7.55 grams

What can we find online?
