If you don’t want to auto-subscribe everyone to your email digest, you can instead ask them to opt-in in one of three ways:

Offer digests to everyone, instantly

Visit your dashboard and decide if you’d like to offer digests by direct message or in a channel. Both options let you send a fully customisable message to your members with a button to set up a digest. It all takes place in Slack too.

Offer digests to new members automatically

From your dashboard you can set up a welcome message which includes a button to set up a personal digest. Learn more about welcome messages here.

Offer digests to individuals

We also let you send a direct message offering a digest to specific members from the member’s table on your dashboard. Please note this uses the same text as the DM.
