"Upon initial sight of the Red Shoes, the beholder will have the strong desire to wear them. This urge only seems to persist while the Red Shoes are captured within one's sight, and the fixation seems to be stronger with women. Agent E■■ has once mentioned to me that, in the past, women were advised to not enter the Red Shoes containment, as the mere sight of a woman would have the Red Shoes recall the memory of the previous owner, and any woman who laid eyes upon the Red Shoes would immediately fall to the temptation and wear the shoes. From that statement, it can be assumed that the desire of the Abnormality has s■■

When an employee with low Temperance enters the containment, they cannot resist the allure of the shoes, and wear them. Once worn, there is no way to bring them back to sanity. There was an incident where three employees held down an Enchanted employee and tried to force her to take off the shoes. But no matter how hard I pulled, the shoes wouldn't come off. I soon found out why. The 'teeth' in the Red Shoes made it physically impossible to remove without cutting off the legs. Her leg, which had been cut off with the axe taken from her, ran off on its own somewhere, still in the shoe, however, it was soon subdued and re-contained. The Enchanted employee died from heavy blood loss."
