Our approach to Alba Omicorum

: 14th of March 2022

For as long as human history stretches, we have desired to leave behind traces of our existence. Whether it be in a medium of cave stories or a Facebook page, we find ways establish a sense of belonging. Through these marks, we can begin to understand how they viewed the world and what they needed to share with others.

What interests us about this large archive the KB has put together are the individual stories it holds. Who were these people? How did they fill their days? What do we have in common with them? We believe that amplifying the relatability of these individuals, by focusing on what we can tell of their behaviour, will get people nowadays excited about this archive.

All those who have walked this Earth have left traces behind of their experiences, thoughts, relationships, and their very existence Those who used the alba were going through similar stages of life as current university students, and wanted to find their place in society We want to bring the alba amicorum’s hidden stories to the youth of today through all our senses.
