**Colossians 3:1-4'**Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. '
[ My Reflection ]
Through what Pastor Cholo shared, I learned that I should focus on eternal things ,the things of heaven, rather than the temporary things of this earth. Earthly things are temporary and cannot be taken with me when I leave this life, but the blessings and life I have in Christ are eternal.
This reminds me to set my heart and mind on God’s kingdom, to live for what truly matters, and to find my hope and joy in Him rather than in things that fade away.
• Events of the day and my reactions/actions:
This morning, kid’s worship was canceled because of the typhoon.
At 12:30 p.m., I went down to the worship hall for rehearsal. I’m thankful that I could play guitar to worship and honor God. I know He is pleased when I give my best. Even though I’m still learning, I prayed for courage, wisdom, and skill to serve Him better through music.
After worship and group connecting, I went back to my room for a short rest. Then I cooked and had dinner, followed by cleaning my room and taking a shower.
Later, I went downstairs to check on the people who had to stay in the center because of the strong wind and rain. I spent time talking, sharing, and laughing with YP — it was a good time of fellowship. At 9 p.m., I went back to my room to sleep.
