• Reflections on the scripture I read and meditated on today or this week:
[ Representative Verses ]
**1 Timothy 3:1-3,5-7'**This is a trustworthy saying: “If someone aspires to be a church leader, he desires an honorable position.” So a church leader must be a man whose life is above reproach. He must be faithful to his wife. He must exercise self-control, live wisely, and have a good reputation. He must enjoy having guests in his home, and he must be able to teach. He must not be a heavy drinker or be violent. He must be gentle, not quarrelsome, and not love money. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church? A church leader must not be a new believer, because he might become proud, and the devil would cause him to fall. Also, people outside the church must speak well of him so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the devil’s trap. '
[ My Reflection ]
This verse reminds me that as a child of God, I should live in a way that shows Jesus in me. My actions, words, and attitude should reflect His love and kindness. God wants me to be an example to others.
Every day, I should ask myself if my life is showing Christ’s character—am I patient, gentle, and loving? Am I living in a way that makes others see God’s goodness through me? This scripture teaches me to walk with discipline, humility, and care for others, just like Jesus did.
• Events of the day and my reactions/actions:
I woke up early, went for a walk to buy some vegetables, and bought some bread. After that, I had my morning devotion, and then I helped clean the Bethel room. I continued helping until around 12:00, then had lunch. After lunch, I took some rest, and at 1:30 p.m., I went upstairs to help the SCF staff organize things. I worked there until 4:30 p.m., then went back to my room to make and eat dinner.
In the evening, we had our prayer set. I played guitar and led together with Pastor SJ. When the Pastor sent me the setlist, I printed it out and practiced a little. While leading and playing during the prayer set, I felt deeply touched by the songs—it made me cry. I could feel the Holy Spirit working in my heart. I thank Pastor SJ for his support while I played guitar; when I couldn’t continue playing, he took over, which helped me focus more on God’s presence.
• My thoughts for today:
Today I felt very thankful for all that I was able to do. Even in small tasks like cleaning and helping others, I can see how God is teaching me to serve with a humble heart. During the prayer set, I felt God’s presence so strongly. The songs touched me deeply, and I realized again how much God loves me.
I’m grateful for the chance to play guitar and worship with others. It reminded me that serving God isn’t just about doing things—it’s about being close to Him and letting the Holy Spirit work in my heart. I want to keep growing in faith and use every moment to honor Him.
