• Reflections on the scripture I read and meditated on today or this week:
[ Representative Verses ]
1 Timothy 6:7-8,10 'After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. '
[ My Reflection ]
These verses remind me that everything I have comes from God ,my life, my talents, and all that I use each day. Nothing truly belongs to me; God has only trusted me to take care of what I have.
When I start comparing myself to others or wanting more, I can easily fall into temptation. That kind of thinking leads to pride, jealousy, and greed. But when I choose to be thankful and content, I feel God’s peace in my heart.
Today I’m reminded that having enough ,food, clothing, and God’s presence is already a great blessing. Real joy doesn’t come from what I own or achieve, but from knowing that God loves and takes care of me. I want to stay content, humble, and focused on Him, not on things that will pass away.
• Events of the day and my reactions/actions:
Today I spent my time with God in the Bethel room. In the morning, I practiced and prayed, enjoying quiet time with Him. Around 11:40, I returned to my room to cook and eat lunch. Afterward, I went back to the Bethel room for more prayer and Bible reading.
I stayed there until about 5 p.m., then returned to my room before going out for a walk to buy vegetables. When I came back, I cooked and cleaned the vegetables I had eaten, took a shower, and then went again to the Bethel room to write my daily journal and spend more time in reflection. At 9:30, I returned to my room and went to sleep with peace in my heart.
• My thoughts for today:
Today I felt peaceful spending time with God. Being in the Bethel room helped me focus and feel close to Him. I realized how important it is to slow down and be thankful for the small things my food, the place that I stay, and the quiet moments I have with Him. I want to keep learning to be content and trust that God will provide everything I need.
